From left to right: In the corner was work by Valerie Salez, titled Sheer Pantasy. This consisted of digital prints of various women's faces covered with nylon stocking, nylons stretched out on the wall and nylon packaging. In the centre was a second collection of suspended objects by Heather Anderson, made with sponges, coloured marshmallows, balloons, pipe-cleaners and other matter. An Untitled collaboration between Sarah Hollenberg and Rebecca Roberts was made up of an upturned monitor covered with wax and hair (exhibiting a video), surrounded by a large wax hairball. To the right was Miho Mukai's untitled video installation of two monitors, four mirrors placed on the floor and orange peels placed at the corners of the mirrors.

The Dirty Dishes is a collective consisting of Halifax artists Heather Anderson, Sarah Hollenberg, Miho Mukai, Rebecca Roberts and Valerie Salez whose intentions are to bring a feminist perspective to issues of subjectivity, identity, femininity and commodity. The Dirty Dishes intend to "explore the frilly underbelly of remembered pleasures, exposing the sweet perversions of plastic love, fruity flesh, hairy crud and sheer pantasy." In this exhibition, The Dirty Dishes presented a collection of individual projects which arose through an ongoing collaborative framework.
