The Collision series is a group of large scale colour photographs which have at their heart an array of collisions: the collision of light onto film, the collision of society onto its individuals, and the collision of object into art. This investigation examines the visual impact of the urban environment on its inhabitants. The resulting interpretation of the landscape reveals dialogue with the place as well as a vision of historical social interactions and consequences.

The notion of factual documentation and the profits and detriments that exist within it are examined through the The German, a pseudo-documentary (in the form of a video) of a fictionalized individual. In it, various people through recollections tell the story of the individual by way of telephone conversations, while the visual component consists of surveillance of this individuals' residence.
