Angella Parsons and Ryan Vessey  |  A time-based collaboration

Parsons and Vessey presented work that addressed the subject of childhood sexual abuse as remembered and interpreted by the artists individually. The first two weeks featured a video installation by Parsons, while the remaining two weeks involved a time-based kinetic sculpture by Vessey. Though the exhibitions occurred at different times, commonalties relating to memory, emotion, disconnectedness and confrontations of personal pasts tied the works together.
