Through a series of single channel videos June Pak explores the self in between: between two cultures (Canadian and Korean); between reality and technology; and between time and physical spaces. In "moving stills" we see the artist walk across and disappear into a split screen, only to re-appear in a projection of the same location on the other side of the room. In "Double" we see the artist sitting beside herself, pressing buttons on a remote control, affecting the focus and clarity of her other image.
